Beat Hunger

Every person, no matter how disciplined they are with their eating habits, can fall victim to some food cravings from time to time. For people trying to lose weight, these food cravings are a more serious problem than for people who are simply trying to maintain weight.
Whether you're trying to lose weight or not, food cravings can cause you to break your normal eating habits and end up eating too many calories that you'd otherwise be trying to cut back on.
First, plan five to six small meals, one every three hours a day, and be careful not to miss any of them. The human body takes an average of two and a half hours to digest food, so by the time you feel the urge to eat, it's almost time for your next meal.
Make
it a habit to drink lots of water. When you feel hungry between meals, it's
often because your body is trying to signal that it's thirsty. Carry a bottle
of water with you throughout the day and drink it regularly to stay hydrated,
feel good, and eliminate common causes of food cravings.
